  Robin Guenther FAIA is Principal of Perkins+Will. Robin works at the intersection of health care architecture and sustainable policy, defining the sustainable design agenda in health care through a wide range of advocacy initiatives while continuing to practice. She co-coordinates the Green Guide for Health Care, serves on LEED-HC committee, and published her first book, “Sustainable Healthcare Architecture,” in 2007. She is a board member of both the Center for Health Design and Practice Greenhealth.
  
  She speaks and writes on the topic of sustainable design in healthcare. She aims to both inform and invoke action through her knowledge about and passion for sustainable health care.

  Gail Vittori is Co-Director of the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems, a non-profit sustainable planning and design firm established in 1975, located in Austin, Texas. She is currently engaged with several municipal, state and federal initiatives and projects regarding sustainable development, design and materials strategies, and green health care initiatives.
  
  Ms. Vittori was a Loeb Fellow at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design from 1998-1999, and will serve as the 2009 Chair of the U.S. Green Building Council’s Board of Directors in 2008. She is the Founding Chair of the LEED for Healthcare core committee, is a Co-Coordinator of the Green Guide for Health Care, and serves on the advisory boards of Natural Home magazine and Environmental Building News. She is co-author, with Robin Guenther FAIA, of Sustainable Healthcare Architecture, published by Wiley and Sons, and was featured as an Innovator: Building a Greener World in TIME Magazine in March 2007.
